The squad is still enjoying their surprising tie with highly regarded Santiago last week hoping the defensive effort carries into the balance of the season. The squad is off until Jan. 4 when they will host Dana Hills at Guyer Field and Saddleback Valley Christian on Jan. 6. League play begins on Jan. 11 with Calvary Chapel.
Girls Soccer (6-2)
Breakers headed to the desert after Christmas for their three-match series with local schools. Laguna saw Indio on Tuesday, Dec. 27, Rancho Mirage on Wednesday, Dec. 28 and Indio’s Shadow Hills High School on Thursday, Dec. 29. To open 2017, Laguna travels to University on Tuesday, Jan. 3, and Ocean View on Thursday, Jan. 5, to complete the non-league portion of their schedule.
