Boys Soccer (2-0-2)

Laguna continued to prep for a very tough league season with a 0-0 tie at El Toro on Thursday, Dec. 9 and a 1-0 victory over Aliso Niguel on Friday, Dec. 11 at the Wolverine field. Laguna concluded this month’s matches with Mission Viejo on Wednesday, Dec. 16 and Tesoro Friday, Dec. 18. Breakers will return to action on Jan. 4 at Santiago/Garden Grove and will be at home on Jan. 6, hosting Saddleback Valley Christian.

 

Girls Soccer (1-3-2)

Laguna dropped a pair of non-league matches last week losing 2-0 to J Serra on Tuesday, Dec. 8 and 2-1 at Sage Hill on Thursday, Dec. 10. In the final game of the 33rd Annual Ocean View tournament, Laguna tied host Ocean View 1-1 in a match played this past Monday, Dec. 14 at the Sea Hawk campus. Bianca Brock scored for the Breakers off a pass by Blake Turner. Laguna will host the Sea Hawks for a non-league match this past Thursday, Dec. 17 and will travel to the Desert for their annual Winter Break matches with Xavier Prep, Rancho Mirage, and Shadow Hills.

Breakers lower level teams had success with the JV (4-1-2) and the frosh soph (4-1) both advancing to the Ocean View tournament finals with the frosh taking the title with a 4-1 win over Brea.
