Local Team Hosts New Zealand Runners

LBHS runners hope to set foot in New Zealand.
LBHS runners hope to set foot in New Zealand.

In April the Laguna Beach High School cross country team host students from Auckland Grammar School, New Zealand, before turning the tables in August when the locals are hosted by the families of the Auckland Grammar School cross country team.

The exchange allows both cross-country teams to experience different cultures and make new friends.

To pull it off, the local team is looking for financial assistance and offers local businesses an opportunity to buy a $250 banner for display at LBHS Guyer Field for the next three months, through May 21.
