Laguna got off to a rough start last weekend dropping a doubleheader at Beckman 14-4 and 6-1 with pitchers Blake Burzell and Jack Loechner taking the losses. This past week the squad was in the Newport Elks Tournament starting on March 1 in the 16-team Costa Mesa division as Laguna hosted 80-year rival, Brea-Olinda.
