Spring Sports Finale

The final spring events took place last week, both individual events. Team activities concluded the week prior.

Boys Golf

Kyle Sharp competed in the State Regionals on Thursday, May 24, at Brookside in Pasadena. He started on the second nine, making par on six of nine holes, but stumbled on hole No. 2 and 3 after the turn to finish with an 86 tied for 110^thout of 124 golfers competing.

Boys Tennis

Breakers sent their top individual and doubles team to the CIF individual regionals on Thursday, May 24, at the Jack Kramer Club in Rolling Hills Estates. In singles, Mason Lebby lost to Drake Duchement from Trabuco Hills, the second ranked player from the Sea View league, losing 6-1, 6-1.  The doubles team of Mohomad Berri and Mathew Doung also lost by the same scores to a squad from Chadwick in the opening round

Baseball:

Varsity  14-1 OCL, 19-10 overall –  1^st; Junior Varsity – 15-0 OCL, 20-6 overall – 1^st

Softball: 

Varsity  4-6 OCL, 10-10-1 overall – 4^th(Godinez won league)

Boys Golf:

Varsity  8-0 OCL, 11-6 overall – 1^st  ; Junior Varsity 1-7 overall

Boys Tennis:

Varsity  8-0 OCL, 16-5 overall – 1^st; Junior Varsity 4-0, 8-3 overall -1^st   *** SSCIF D4 CHAMPS ****

Boys Volleyball:

Varsity 10-0 OCL, 16-10 overall – 1^st; JV 10-0 OCL, 12-6 overall – 1^st, FS 4-0 OCL, 10-9 overall 1^st

Swimming:             

Boys Varsity: 5-0 Duals- 1^stOverall OCL;  JV 5-0, 1^stoverall OCL

Girls Varsity: 5-0 Duals  – 1^stOverall OCL;  JV 4-0, 1^stoverall OCL

Track & Field:       

Boys Track: 2-3 Duals –  tied for 2^ndoverall (Godinez won) ; Frosh/Soph  1-4 Duals – tied for 4^thOCL (Saddleback won)

Girls Track: 4-1 Duals – 1^stoverall OCL, Frosh/Soph 0-4 Duals – tied for 4^thoverall (Costa Mesa won)

Fall 2018 Sports :

The season starts earlier than previous years.

Cross country: first event is Sept. 1

Football: Big Bear, Aug. 31 at Guyer Field

Boys Water Polo: Aug. 24 at Los Osos

Girls Golf: Aug. 24, hosting Crean Lutheran at Ben Brown’s.

Girls Tennis: Sept. 4 at Dana Hills

Girls Volleyball: Queens Court Tournament on Aug. 11-12, Six non-league matches in August.
