No Steamrolling Family Fun

Some of last year’s participants in Family Art Day.

Parents and children will be treated to exciting adventures in art, compliments of the Festival of Arts on Saturday, July 21, from noon to 3 p.m.

Art projects in ceramics and mixed media, scavenger hunts, ceramics, marionette shows, balloon art, face painting and stringing together a Hawaiian anklet will entertain and ignite the imagination.

Guests will have the opportunity to make prints rolled by a 44,000-pound steamroller! Children will be treated to a snack as Mom and Dad enjoy live musical entertainment by Shelby, Tieg & Tara.

When children arrive, they will receive a booklet containing coupons that they’ll get to redeem for the different projects and attractions. Children 12 and under receive free admission.

Family Art Day is free with Festival of Arts admission ($10 for adults, $6 for seniors and students, and free for kids under 12).
