Local singer/songwriter Alec Bridges releases a solo studio album “In a Stream” Sunday, Oct. 21.
Inspired by Bridges’ introspective yoga and meditation, the album has come nearly three years in the making. Catalytic to his solo sound, the rhythm section in Bridges’ band moved to New York, leaving Bridges to “more acoustic songs.”
All of the songs are composed of sounds made by Bridges, save for two tracks his previously mentioned rhythm section guest.
“I purposely chose to wait until the fall to release it because it has a very autumnal/wintery sound to it,” says Bridges.
