Tuesday, Oct. 8

Burglary. 300 block of Broadway St. 3:21 a.m. Joseph Edward Flamm, 46, of Newport Beach, was arrested for suspicion of burglary as police were searching the area after responding to a burglary alarm. The store owner verified jewelry allegedly in Flamm’s possession was from the store. Bail was set at $20,000.

Assault with a deadly weapon. 600 block of Cuprien Way. 11:19 a.m. One neighbor apparently tried to scare another by driving in his direction and slamming on the brakes.

Vandalism. 400 block of S. Coast Hwy. A bay window and ceramic pots were broken over night.

Fraud. 1800 block of Del Mar Ave. 2:23 p.m. The victim’s social security deposit was rerouted to someone else’s account.

Wednesday, Oct. 9

Petty theft. 200 block of S. Coast Hwy. 2:42 p.m. A man came into the back room of a store and took an employee’s purse along with $100 in cash under it.

Thursday, Oct. 10

Vandalism. 31100 block Ceonothus Dr. 8 a.m. Surveillance cameras were broken at a home under construction.

DUI. Monterey Dr. 10:38 a.m. A 68-year-old woman was arrested for DUI after someone observer her vehicle going very slowly and hitting a wall. She was transported to Mission Hospital.

Fight. S. Coast Hwy. 1:43 p.m. Richard Duke, 53, of Huntington Beach, was arrested for suspicion of marijuana sales and held for $25,000 bail. He allegedly was in possession of 32 grams of marijuana.

Friday, Oct. 11

Traffic stop. Jasmine St. 7:47 p.m. A 37-year-old Florida woman was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.

Foot patrol. 3200 block of Alta Laguna Blvd. 10:32 p.m. Jorge Ortega, 21, of Costa Mesa, was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants.

Drunk driving.. 5:38 p.m. El Toro Rd. Jonathan Scott Ewart, 45, of Aliso Viejo, was arrested for suspicion of DUI and held for $10,000 bail due to a prior offense.

Sunday, Oct. 13

Traffic stop. Cleo St. 2:37 a.m. A 24-year-old Irvine woman was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.

Traffic stop. 400 block of Broadway. 4:55 p.m. Angela Jean Ashbrook, 29, of San Bernardino was arrested for suspicion of possessing .91 grams of meth as well as paraphernalia. Bail was set at $20,000.

Monday, Oct. 14

Traffic stop.. 2300 block of S. Coast Hwy. 1:26 a.m. Michael Page, 24, of Dana Point, was arrested for suspicion of .12 grams of meth and held for $20,000 bail.
