Drunk driving. 1:45 a.m. Loma Terrace and Forest Avenue. A 29-year-old Hollywood man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and driving with a BAC of .08 or higher and held for $2,500 bail.
Saturday, Nov. 23
Traffic stop. 12:30 a.m. Montage Resort Drive and Coast Highway. A 43-year-old Ladera Ranch woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and driving with a BAC of .08 or higher and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 1:53 a.m. 20600 block of Laguna Canyon Road. A 25-year-old Aliso Viejo woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and driving with a BAC of .08 or higher and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 2:46 a.m. 500 block of Forest Avenue. A 25-year-old Santa Ana woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and driving with a BAC of .08 or higher and held for $2,500 bail. The woman faces an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance ($500 bail).
Drunk driving. 10:21 p.m. Cleo Street and S. Coast Highway. Daniel Osorio, 36, of San Juan Capistrano, was arrested on suspicion of DUI causing bodily injury and held for $100,000 bail, with one prior offense. Prior to the arrest, officers responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision and found a female pedestrian who had suffered a leg injury sitting on the sidewalk.
Friday, Nov. 22
Public intoxication. 7:31 a.m. 300 block of Cliff Drive. A homeless woman was arrested for public intoxication ($500 bail) after being seen with a group of other intoxicated people near Jasmine at the picnic benches. The woman spit on officers and kicked the jailer and faces an additional charge of battery on a peace officer ($500 bail).
