Traffic stop. 600 block of S. Coast Hwy. 2:50 p.m. Robert Dedericoni, 59, of Escondido, was arrested for outstanding warrants.
Fraud. 300 block of Poplar St. 6:20 p.m. Someone pilfered a $346 check from a mailbox and cashed it.
Suspicious person. 900 block of Summit Way. 10:57 p.m. A man who described himself as a construction worker was arrested for suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia at a job site after hours.

Traffic stop. Montage 2:19 a.m. A 23-year-old Phoenix man was cited for DUI.
Traffic collision. 1800 Laguna Canyon Rd. 3:12 p.m. Smoke and fuel spewed from a vehicle involved in a rear-end collision where no one was injured.
Traffic collision. S. Coast Hwy. 3:54 p.m. A 41-year-old Garden Grove woman was arrested for DUI following a collision involving a city trolley.
Petty theft. 2100 block of Catalina 5:26 p.m. A rent check of $1,450 clipped to a front door was stolen and cashed.
Traffic collision. 1000 block of Van Dyck Dr. 6:49 p.m. A driver escaped with minor injuries when a vehicle overturned on its side.
Traffic collision. Sunset Terrace. 10:33 p.m. A 43-year-old Santa Ana woman was cited for DUI.

Traffic collision. 400 block of S. Coast Hwy 2:04 a.m. Gonzalo Hernandez, 23, of Santa Ana, was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his vehicle collided into a light pole.
Burglary. 600 block of Sleepy Hollow Drive. 9 a.m. Someone emptied a refrigerator of $40 worth of food from a residence under construction.

Automated license plate reader. El Toro. 9:14 p.m. A Laguna Hills juvenile was detained for possession of a stolen vehicle on Forest Avenue.
Friday, Aug. 7
Vandalism. 1900 block of S. Coast Hwy. 8:13 a.m. Poster-sized pictures were ripped off a building.
Vandalism. 31300 block of Coast Hwy. 1:37 p.m. Twenty trees worth $50,000 were taken.
Burglary. 1100 block of Katella St. 2:11 p.m. Someone entered a house two days earlier through an unlocked bedroom door and stole a Macbook worth $1400.

DUI. 700 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 12:28 a.m. A 49-year-old Woodland Hills woman was cited for DUI.
Pedestrian stop. 100 block of Broadway. 12:51 a.m. Justin Garret Clark, 30, of Corona, was arrested for suspicion of drug sales. Bail was set at $30,000.
Traffic stop. S. Coast Hwy. 2:46 a.m. A 19-year-old Anaheim man was cited for DUI.
Petty theft. 600 block of N. Coast Hwy. 1:21 p.m. A 39-year-old homeless man, who shoplifted crab legs, hamburgers and brats, was arrested for petty theft and public drunkenness
Drunk driving. Del Mar Ave. 3:54 p.m. A 52-year-old local man was cited for DUI.
DUI. 600 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 6:26 p.m. outbound. A 28-year-old Long Beach woman, who was driving erratically, was arrested for DUI.
Traffic collision. 1900 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 6:58 p.m. A 24-year-old male suffered leg injuries when his motorcycle collided with a car entering a parking lot.
Sunday, Aug. 9
Traffic stop. Legion St. 2:27 p.m. Rachelle Melinda Bowers, 47, of Laguna Beach, was cited for suspicion of DUI. Due to two prior offenses, bail was set at $15,000.
Fraud report. 1000 block of Glenneyre St. 8:52 a.m. A resident discovered his identity was used to open an account.
