  1. Does anyone know what happened yesterday (Thursday, Sept 22nd, 2011) on PCH in Laguna Beach around 2:30-3:00pm?

I was driving south from DT Laguna, and ran across what appeared to be a hit and run accident with 3 or 4 parked vehicles near a dry-cleaner (some were really damaged, and the owners looked like they were in shock). As I drove further down PCH South (about 1 to 2 miles), I came across what appeared to be a fairly serious traffic accident in the south-bound lanes involving at least 3 or 4 vehicles (emergency vehicles were just starting to show up). It looked fairly serious, and both incidences appeared to be related (based on the time and vicinity). My speculation was it was either a car-jacking gone bad, or an out of control drunk-driver?

    Anyone know anything?
