Students Receive $416K in Scholarships

The Laguna Beach High School Scholarship Foundation awarded $416,125 in scholarships to graduating seniors on Friday, June 7, at the LBHSSF Honors Convocation in the school’s Artists Theater. The 289 awards were distributed to 123 members of the LBHS 2019 senior class during the annual event. Earlier in the evening, long-time donor Cheryl Post and retiring French teacher, Odile Dewar, were honored at a donors’ reception. Former students and LBHSSF scholarship recipients, Juliana Ferguson ’12 (USC) and Hilary Frimond ’03 (Saddleback CC – Cal Poly) spoke passionately on how receiving the scholarships impacted their collegiate experiences.
