Puppets, cartooning, and Harry Potter art games are offered in a free introductory class for six-to-nine year-olds Tuesday, June 10 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Imagine Wisdom Education Camp, meeting at Montessori School, 340 St. Anne’s Dr.

The summer art camp offers self-directed and cooperative art games for preschoolers and 6-to-9 year-olds at the same school. Five sessions meet weekly Monday through Friday from July 7 to Aug. 8. The cost is $189 weekly for five daily sessions, or $130 for three days. Siblings receive a half-price discount.

Museum Announces Art Camp

Laguna Beach Art Museum will offer Elements of Art Summer Camps, beginning July 14.

Open to first through eighth grade students, projects vary in complexity according to the student’s age. The theme is different for each camp, so students are encouraged to sign up for multiple sessions.

The cost of $125-$175 includes five days of camp, plus art supplies. Students learn about shape, form, space, color and texture by creating their own unique art works, while being inspired by the art on display in the museum.
