San Clemente’s Surfing Heritage and Culture Center hosts a book launch on Saturday, Dec. 7, for author Paul Holmes as well as his subject, former Laguna Beach resident Hobie Alter.
Holmes’ work, “Hobie: Master of Water, Wind and Waves,” will be available at the event, 110 Calle Iglesias, in San Clemente, 5-9 p.m.
