The Laguna Beach High school surf team finished third in the National Scholastic State Regional Championships at Seaside Reef in Dana Point earlier this month.
Kayla Coscino finished second in girls short board and Jameson Roller finished second in the long board division.
The six short boarders, Sam and Kiko Nelson, Jake Levine, Trey Lockhart, Travis Booth, and Jeremy Shutts, performed well throughout the day, coaches Scott Finn and Alisa Cairns reported.
