Laguna wrapped up another league dual meet league title on Thursday, April 29, as the boys defeated Godinez 134-36 and the girls won 129-41. It was the seventh straight dual meet league title for the boys team and the ninth for the girls. Meet highlights: Max Morgan earned a CIF automatic qualifying time in the 100 freestyle, 48.24; Cade Baldridge earned a new CIF qualifying time in the 100 free at 49.97. The varsity girls earned a CIF automatic qualifying time for the 400 free relay with a time of 3:52.09 (Harper Dix, Kyla Whitelock, Sophia Lucas, and Kasey Karkoska). The varsity boys also earned a CIF qualifying time in the 400 free relay with 3:16.59 (Cameron Karkoska, Max Morgan, Cade Baldridge, and Erik Juliusson).

The league meet finals are Friday, May 8, at Costa Mesa. Breakers are in Division 2 for CIF with the prelims scheduled for Friday, May 15, and the finals on Saturday, May 16, at Riverside City College. Laguna’s divers will compete for CIF on Monday, May 11, at Riverside.
