Darrcy Loveland, chief executive of the Laguna Beach Community Foundation, informed board members of her intent to retire, effective next month. Foundation board chair Rick Balzar said this week a search committee has been established to look for a successor. Loveland, a resident since 1999, was hired by the foundation in February 2011.
