Hands on your hearts, Laguna Beach baseball fans! As the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim take the field against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday, July 19, Laguna Beach’s Tessa Mansour will sing the national anthem to open the game, broadcast nationally by ESPN.

The 17-year-old classically trained soprano will also sing “God Bless America” during the seventh inning stretch before leading the crowd in “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.”

“It is such an honor to perform at a major league baseball game,” said Tessa, who will be a senior at Laguna Beach High School in the fall. “I’ve always loved singing along with the national anthem in the stands. I never imagined I would be doing so for a packed stadium and baseball fans around the country!”

Tune in at 5 p.m. to root for the hometown players on and off the field.
