Laguna local and former high school teacher Tyler Durman shares his insights using a comedic approach to storytelling in his new book, “Counterintuitive: What 4 Million Teens Wish We Knew.”
Thousands of one-on-one conversations with teens has given Durman a window into their minds, allowing him to gain wisdom about the surprising and counterintuitive things they need and long for from the adults in their lives.
Known for his ability to offer wisdom through laughter and storytelling, Durman has spoken at more than 2,800 schools, conferences and events. “I couldn’t put it down,” said a statement from Dr. Paul Lewanski, a California teacher of the year.
