The remaining regular season schedule is as follows with matches played at Huntington Beach (League web site: www.ibvl.org):

Boys Volleyball (7-5, 5-0)

Breakers won their 73rd consecutive league match swamping Saddleback (4-14, 1-4) 25-12, 25-15, 25-16 last Thursday, April 14, at Dugger Gym. Still missing are two starters, Pete Obradovich and Josh McManus, expected back in the lineup this week.

Against the Roadrunners, Laguna was never pressed as Tyler Alter led all players with 10 kills in two sets of play.

4-29 & 4-30: Breakers were be participating in the 46th annual Redondo Classic – So Cal’s oldest boys volleyball tournament. Among the teams participating will be Huntington Beach, San Clemente, Burroughs/Burbank and Oak Park.

SSCIF D-2 Poll for April 18: 1 – Oak Park, 2 – Laguna Beach, 3 – Burroughs/Burbank, 4 – West Ranch, 5 – Simi Valley, 6 – Royal, 7 – South, 8 – Capistrano Valley, 9 – Valencia/Valencia, 10 – Lakewood. Others: Hillcrest, Long Beach Poly, La Canada.
