Thank you fellow Laguna Beach residents for providing Laura Parisi a mandate to be our city treasurer for the next four years. She is truly a dedicated servant for the people of Laguna and we are fortunate to have her.
I only hope that the City Council and the city staff will now recognize that the people of Laguna have provided legitimacy to Ms. Parisi as our city treasurer. We have now indicated that we want a very qualified person as our treasurer to ensure we do not encounter issues our fellow cities are facing.
We also want our City Council and city staff to now work in concert with Ms. Parisi and recognize her talents. She is the only CPA in our local government.
