Local disabled entrepreneur Andy Leaf was recognized by the Laguna Beach City Council last October for his years spent mentoring the disabled in business. Two months later, he slipped the surly bonds of earth. Now his life, friendships and accomplishments will be celebrated in a public wake Sunday, Jan. 31. The 2:30-5:30 p.m. memorial will be held in Bridge Hall at Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Anne’s Dr.
Music, poetry and personal memories will be offered by family, caregivers and friends. All are welcome, and refreshments will be served.
Leaf’s newly revamped nonprofit website, www.disabilitybiz.org, is expected to continue helping employers connect with disabled entrepreneurs, vendors and service providers who are disabled, via the business directory on the website.
