Steinle-Lamb
Larry Thomas Steinle, of Laguna Beach, and Pamela Hunt Steinle, of Fullerton, announce the marriage of their daughter Aurora Hunt Steinle to Michael Quincy Gilkerson Lamb.
The groom’s parents, Donald Quincy Lamb, Jr. and Linda Gilkerson, both live in Chicago.
The couple plans to exchange vows at Cafe Brauer in Chicago.
The bride, 33, is the director of performance and strategic initiatives in the Office of the Deputy Mayor of Education, in Washington, D.C. The groom, 35, is the executive director, for Turnaround for Children, also in Washington, D.C.
The couple met while working in the Obama administration at the U.S. Department of Education and attending a conference in Cincinnati. Their flight back to D.C. was delayed by seven hours and they sat next to each other at the gate.
