I only have two votes for three excellent candidates, Jane, Verna, and Bob Whalen. I became aware of Bob at the candidate’s forum for the arts. The village entrance project was discounted by Steve Dicterow as probably not doable. Bob responded with his history of doing similar projects through his law practice and the view that it is very doable. As an artist showing in one of the festivals, the Village Entrance is a parking panacea and Bob gets my vote.
Because of the benefits available to the local artists through the Laguna Beach Arts Commission and the support of it by Jane Egly, I am forced to vote for Jane. Sorry Verna.
