TED Conference Simulcast in Laguna

 

Organizers of TEDxLagunaBeach will host a simulcast on Wednesday, Feb. 29, at Hotel Laguna, 425 S. Coast Highway, of the annual TED Conference taking place in Long Beach, where some of the world’s leading thinkers share what they are most passionate about.

 

“TED” stands for technology, entertainment and design. Attendance is open to the public and complimentary, but seating is limited at. Those wishing to attend must send an email to [email protected]

 

 

Journaling for Young Adults

 

Pre-teens and teens will have a chance to learn how to write with Steven Bramucci, a professional writer, at workshops on Saturdays March 10, 17 and 24, from 10 am to 12 :30 p.m., at Anneliese Schools’ Willowbrook Campus, 20062 Laguna Canyon Rd.

 

Each workshop costs $55, $45 for early registration, or all three workshops are $135/$120 for early subscribers. Maximum of 25.

Escape to the Hills for Hilarity

 

The Laguna Laughter Club will present “Festival of Joy,” a five-day retreat, from March 21-25, featuring Laughter Yoga, hikes in nature, and creative art workshops.

 

The retreat is scheduled at The Glen Ivy Center, 25005 Glen Ivy Road,

Corona.
