The third annual 10 Boys Who Care yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be held at Legion Hall on Saturday, March 12.
The boys, who have been stashing donated wares from their families for this occasion, also received post-holiday inventory to liquidate from Jon Madison, owner of Madison Square & Garden Café.
The boys need another $1,500 more to reach their fundraising goal, said co-president Noah Linder. The group of Laguna Beach High School ninth graders has awarded scholarships to two graduating seniors for the past two years and intends to continue until they themselves graduate. Their overall goal is $2,500 for a 2016 graduating senior boy and girl.
Madison ornaments and decor will be on sale as well as gently used sporting equipment, clothing, household goods and furniture.
“I think it is so impressive that these kids have set a goal to help graduating high school students,” Madison said.Firebrand Media LLC wants comments that advance the discussion, and we need your help to accomplish this mission.
