Laguna Beach Boy Scout Troop 35 has awarded Boy Scouting’s Highest Rank to Bobby Briggs, Grant Miller and Jack Reed.

All three boys exceeded the required 21 merit badges for the rank of Eagle. Their Scouting adventures include learning to survive, navigate and cook in many environments. The boys logged hundreds of hours and provided leadership in support of the homeless and community service projects.

The recent Court of Honor was held at Laguna Presbyterian Church and was led by Scoutmaster Erik Ranabargar.

Troop 35 was chartered in 1928. Troop 35 has awarded the rank of Eagle to about 110 young men in its 88-year history. Laguna Beach’s Troop 35 is one of California oldest Boy Scout Troops.
