Editor,
On Monday, Nov. 7, while shopping in the village, I dropped my wallet while leaving Wells Fargo bank. I didn’t notice the loss until 20 minutes later and then went crazy retracing my steps to try and find it.
When I returned home, very depressed over my stupidity, there was a message from the bank that someone had turned in my wallet still filled with my credit cards and all the cash (a large amount).
The person didn’t leave a name so there is no way to thank them, or reward them for this kindness, except via this letter.

Good idea posting this letter. Reminded me that I had the same kindness happen when I lost my wallet in Crystal Cove park a few months ago. A nice lady who was in the park gave my wallet to a ranger and I was able to retrieve it from him. She was also an anonymous kind person.
Thank you kind people out there. It sure was a relief for me to get all my stuff back. Thanks for your letter!
