Equal Opportunity Goes Beyond Discrimination

Editor:

After years of reading about and listening to the national debate on universal health care, I finally heard the definitive arguments in LinkTV’s “Medicine and Money “ documentary and was motivated to write.

It’s a moral issue. Ten nations, all highly developed, provide universal health care, cheaper because it is universal.

Our legislators are delusional when they cry that we have the best health system in the world.  We don’t. For example, we’re 25th in the world for neonatal death prevention.

To have equal opportunity, people need their health.  We can do this as a nation, save money, get better treatment.

Thanks for listening,
