In response to Jessica deStefano’s letter (“It Costs Less to Care,” May 9), I would like to comment as to how wonderful the article was, as well as to how great it is for the state of Utah to take care of their homeless!
I would also like to point out that while the state of Utah was able to manage those concerns, it would have been impossible for Park City to handle it successfully on their own.
The parallel here is that while I am a firm believer in helping the less fortunate, I don’t feel that the citizens of Laguna Beach should be saddled with the responsibility that belongs to Orange County!
