I am absolutely stunned that our professional police force would be so mean to a local tourist (“Objections to Leash Law Citations,” Letters, June 17).
Bonnie is the type of tourist who brings money and goodwill to our fair community. We need tourism to survive, and this is how they treat a “customer”? If our police keep picking on outsiders to fill our city coffers, there eventually will be no “others” to fill our businesses and beaches, and Laguna Beach will become an economic island depended only upon it’s own citizens to survive.
