I was at the library and saw many happy patrons working away on the computers so after reading Carter’s letter (“Lamenting an Impossible System,” Letters, June 14), I checked with our librarian and all our computers have been working just fine.
I do have good news for our nice patrons. The county has hooked up a T1 line, which will double the speed on our computers. Yes, we must wait ‘til October for the other hook up since the county is waiting for AT&T to do their part.
And, there should be one more computer available for paton use since Carter will be in Newport Beach.
