Pedestrian stop. 31000 block of Coast Hwy. 9:50 p.m. A 21-year-old Irvine resident was arrested for a parole violation and held without bail.
Detective activity. 100 block of Fairview St. 12:53 p.m. Stephen Sheppard, 50, of Murrieta, was arrested for suspicion of possessing 2.4 grams of meth. Bail was set at $25,000.
Tuesday, Oct. 15
Detective activity. 9:12 a.m. 600 block of Park Ave. A 17-year-old male student angry with staff and social services officials threw a chair and a backpack. He was eventually placed in the custody of mental health professionals.
Thursday, Oct. 17
Warrant arrest. Thalia St. 3:34 p.m. Joseph Jeremy Seiden, 30, was arrested for an outstanding DUI warrant and held for $5,000 bail.
Traffic stop. Coast Hwy. Jorge Marvin Guadarrama, 21, of San Juan Capistrano, was arrested for suspicion of violating a restraining order and held for $15,000 bail.
Disturbance. 300 block of Club Dr. 5:21 p.m. A male was yelling obscenities about suing the apartment complex.
Friday, Oct. 18
Vandalism. 600 block of Park Ave. 1:58 a.m. An 18-year-old was issued a citation for resisting arrest and released at the scene while four others, all 17, were detained and cited for a similar charge as well as a curfew violation and released to their parents. The five Laguna Beach teens were knocking over trash cans, strewing trash and knocking over potted trees.
Fraud. 2:55 p.m. 1200 La Mirada St. The victim found three fraudulent withdrawals made on her account, each for $1800.
DUI. 1700 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 7:15 p.m. Police received a report about an inbound vehicle straying into the road’s shoulder and arrested a 30-year-old Huntington Beach man for DUI.
DUI. Laguna Canyon Rd. 10:19 p.m. As a result of a citizen who observed a swerving vehicle, Annette Marie Nedweski, 30, of Huntington Beach, was arrested for suspicion of DUI, a third offense in 10 years. Bail was set at $15,000.
Saturday, Oct. 19
Traffic stop. 500 block of Forest Ave. 2 p.m. A 23-year-old man was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Pedestrian stop. Beach St. 10:48 a.m. A 59-year-old Laguna Beach transient was arrested for six outstanding warrants.
Indecent exposure. 600 block of N. Coast Hwy. 7:46 p.m. A shopper reported seeing a male beside a vehicle in the parking lot with his shorts pulled down and masturbating.
Disturbance. 20600 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. A 67-year-old woman, who wanted entry to the already filled homeless shelter, refused to leave and was arrested for a trespassing charge.
Sunday, Oct. 20
Traffic stop. 1300 block of Circle Way. A 53-year-old Huntington Beach man was arrested for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Traffic stop. 500 block of S. Coast Highway. A 29-year-old Ladera Ranch man was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Vandalism. 1300 block of S. Coast hwy. 9:20 a.m. Three displays were vandalized overnight.
Disturbance. 31800 block of Coast hwy. 1:30 p.m. A 62-year-old homeless man was arrested for two outstanding warrants.
