I want to express my gratitude to the Laguna Beach Independent for taking seriously its role to both examine and support the art community of our town.
Recently, I was a part of the initial “Art Along the Coast” studio tour. The Indy recognized that it was a different type of exhibition than had been done before and enthusiastically pursued the story. The tour was a success and many who participated reported that they had first heard of it through the Indy, demonstrating that our local media is closely followed by people who act on what they read.
Many I talk with agree that the Indy continues to be the “go to” newspaper for our community. Without the Indy story I believe “Art Along the Coast” would not have been the success that it was. Plans are underway for another tour next year!

- Libelous language, whether or not the writer knows what they're saying is false.
