I appreciate Catharine Cooper’s letter in the LB Indy a couple of weeks ago (“Another Though on the Village Entrance” Oct. 24), about the dubious parking structure proposal. I’d completely forgotten about the loss of the view of the airport terminal, thanks to the colossal parking structure.
Speaking from personal experience like this is a great way to remind people of their own feelings about such things. It was very well and clearly written. It helps me better understand what’s at stake with the Village Entrance Proposal, and I’ll bet many others found it helpful too… As you said, “Let’s pause and revisit what we’d like to experience as we enter our treasured city”.
