Landscape Photographer Shares His Talents

Resident artists of Forest and Ocean Gallery will be sharing their experiences in special presentations, beginning with Roger Bennett in the “The Art of Seeing” on Saturday, June 15 from 4 to 5 p.m. at 480-B Ocean Ave.

Bennett produces vibrant and stunning photographic prints.

Refreshments and light snacks will be served on the gallery’s patio.


Dreaming at the Sandstone Gallery

“Cosmic Dream” the newest exhibition of Sunny Kim’s abstract paintings and “Dreamscapes,” the contemporary paintings of Ann Kim, will be featured at Sandstone Gallery through July 1. Sandstone Gallery is located at 384-A N. Coast Hwy and is open daily, except Tuesday, from noon to 5 p.m.

The Gallery will also be exhibiting contemporary artists KL Heagen, Howard Hitchcock, Mada Leach, Anne Moore, Victoria Smith Porcello, Jong H. Ro and Lynn Welker.

Laguna Beach resident Sue Osborne opened The Shed Fine Art Gallery in Dana Point, a former wholesale nursery.

Gallery Director Michael Ruffini has curated a collection of contemporary art and sculpture.

The site houses a trio of clapboard buildings, which include the gallery, The Coop housewares store and OC Beads, Osborne’s 20-year business.
