Dora Wexell at Seven Degrees has this completely backwards (“Music Fest Wins New Fans,” April 11). A wedding venue has no business being next door to the Sawdust Festival.
Why should the Sawdust Festival have to negotiate? The Sawdust Festival has been here for 50 years. There has always been music.
Seven Degrees opened as a gallery not too long ago and suddenly morphed into a wedding venue. How this was approved is mystifying. Your weddings are interfering with our summer shows and special events like Blue Water Green Earth Music Festival!
A suggestion would be to find out when the next music festival is planned and don’t have a wedding that day.
