Special Concert Jazzes Up Music Program
Laguna Beach Live! is presenting a special concert on Wednesday, May 15 with the Kristin Korb Trio in her only Orange County appearance on her 2013 tour in order to fund a music education program at the Boys and Girls Club.
Korb will be joined by Jeff Hamilton on drums and Bruce Forman on guitar and will be performing at Aliso Creek Inn, 31106 S. Coast Highway.
Tickets are $30 online. A V.I.P. package for $100 includes premier seating, a visit with the artist, and a bottle of wine. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the concert lasts from6 to 8 p.m. Visit lagunabeachlive.org or call 800-595-4849.
Sodalis Debuts, Strikes a Chord Against Hunger
The Sodalis Piano Quartet is making its debut at a benefit concert for the Laguna Beach Resource Center at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, in the sanctuary of the Laguna Beach United Methodist Church, 21632 Wesley Dr.
Pianists ranging in age from 9 to 80 will perform on three grand pianos.
Players include Pennie Foster, Deborah Glass, Daniel Thompson and Michael Vantrease, Brent Argo, Elaine Converse, Jasmine Madlener, and Kyla and Noah Anderson-Clausen.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and are available at the door. A complimentary reception will follow the concert.
