I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the Laguna Beach lifeguards for a job well done! In Laguna, the Fourth of July weekend is most likely the busiest and most crowded weekend of the whole year. I was down at Main Beach and the crowds were wall to wall! Add to the mix a huge swell and thousands of tourists who do not know how to navigate the waters made for a very interesting weekend. Many disasters were adverted due to the hard work and tireless effort put forth by our amazing guards.
I would like to give a special shout out to Cameron Zuziak. I don’t think he ever left the water as he was constantly either rescuing people or advising them how to get in or out of the ocean. Our home grown local boy did good!
Thank you again to the Laguna Beach lifeguards…. you made us all proud!
