I just read in the skatepark article that Lang Park is back on the table as a possible location. Can this be true?
Our little park which languished for years after the school shut down as a city dump and staging site, where neighbors fought to preserve as a much as they could of the grassy athletic field, and where countless local kids currently come to play and practice seems to once again be a pawn in this never ending game.
Does no one in authority remember that Lang was proposed 10 years ago or so and deemed inappropriately? I wish they did for the sake of the park and the neighborhood.
