Top of the World and El Morro students both participated in their school’s respective Jog-A-Thon fundraiser on Friday, March 15.

This year’s goal at TOW is $50,000 to support TOW PTA enrichment programs, such as Art Masters and after-school programs, said Michelle Struss, TOW Jog-A-Thon chairperson.

A combination of community sponsors and family support contributes to the event’s success, she said.

El Morro received an anonymous, school-wide pledge of $5,000 towards its Jog-a-thon, according to parent Ann Henry.

“Students were up for the challenge and we met our lap goal, running more than 14,000 laps,” she said.
