The last time I was in Italy, Alitalia Airlines honored their artists by placing their names on their planes; I was on the Leonardo DaVinci! I think we should consider doing that on our trolleys. How cool would it be to see the Edgar Payne going down Coast Highway or seeing the Frank Cuprien full of tourists?
I’m sure the Laguna Art Museum could come up with a list of deserving artists from our city’s past. These artists are a huge part of the reason Laguna Beach became an art colony and I don’t think it would cost too much to honor their legacy.
