No Square Presents ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’

A stage production of “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” comes to the No Square Theatre beginning this weekend, Dec. 3-4, 9-11, and 16-18.

Directed by Joe Lauderdale with music direction by Roxanna Ward and choreography by Ellen Prince, the show is appropriate for everyone 5 or older.

The cast includes locals Will Briggs, Alfie Cant, Mason Bruderer, Grace Gilchrist, Raquel Temesvary, Lula Buckle, Lauren Kimball, Luke Bruderer, Noah Doody, Allie Swellen, and Cassidy Morgan.

Free parking is available at Laguna Beach High School, near the theatre in Legion Hall, 384 Legion St. Patrons can come early and enjoy dinner and drinks al fresco before the 2 or 7 p.m. curtain. Purchase tickets in advance from $10 at nosquare.org.

 

 

 

 

Holiday Concert Takes a Celtic Twist

 

The Celtic Consort performs classical baroque and Irish Celtic songs in a holiday program Thursday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. at the Laguna Art Museum.

Concert and studio musicians Christina Linhardt (soprano, flute), Shawna Selline (harp) and Mark Selline (cello, mandolin and fiddle) boast many recording, film, television and theatre credits between them.

Pre-reservations are available online through the Museum’s website, or 949 494-8971 x 203. These seats are held until 6:45 p.m.
