The story you wrote about Lola was excellent (“Only the Truth is Funny,” July 8 edition) Thank you so much. We really enjoyed it. She is such an amazing lady.
I was wondering if you saw the outstanding exhibit of Daniel Oropeza’s metal sculptures at the Essence Gallery, which is unfortunately closing down. He is such a talented artist who communicates a powerful message in his courageous sculptures. I thought, he, too, would make for an interesting story.
