Soroptimist International of Laguna Beach named long time Laguna Beach resident Sandy Vetter its Soroptimist of the Year.
Vetter has held several board positions and is currently serving as treasurer. With this recognition, she joins the Laurel Society, created by Soroptimist International to recognize outstanding women and girls.
Among her many contributions, Vetter spearheaded the Women of the Wells fundraiser, which brought drinking water to remote areas of India; and co-chaired a fundraiser for the Colombo/American Education Foundation.
Vetter’s continued generosity of time and treasure included this year’s donation of a bed at Christmas time for a blind lady who had been sleeping on the floor.Firebrand Media LLC wants comments that advance the discussion, and we need your help to accomplish this mission.
