Woman Rescued From Rollover
The fire department extricated an unidentified Laguna Beach woman by rope from a vehicle that may have intentionally been driven off Bluebird Canyon Road on Sunday, July 31, police said.
The 27-year-old driver was transported to Mission Hospital after suffering moderate injuries in the single-car accident about 1 p.m., police said.
Police received several 911 calls about a white 2009 BMW 335i that went “off the cliff” and rolled several times, coming to rest about 120-feet in a ravine. Witnesses reported seeing the vehicle speeding up Bluebird Canyon at approximately 100 mph, and police said it was very possible the accident was intentional.
