Monday, Feb. 14

Traffic stop. 1:40 a.m. S. Coast Highway. A 55-year-old Long Beach man was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.

Threats. 11:33 a.m. TOW School. A student’s report that her father had threatened the life of er mother is under investigation.

Fraud. 1:42 p.m. 400 block of Los Robles Avenue. More than $2,000 in 15 separate unauthorized transactions was charged to a Chevron credit card.

Traffic stop. 3:22 p.m. 30000 block of Coast Highway. A 49-year-old Laguna Beach woman was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.

Tuesday, Feb. 15

Grand theft. 8:51 a.m. 1500 block of Coast Highway. Thieves took a computer tower valued at $600 from a business office, gaining entry by unknown means.

Counterfeit. 2:55 p.m. 800 block of Glenneyre St. A customer unknowingly attempted to use a fake $5 bill for a purchase. The phony bills were turned over to the Secret Service.

Burglary. 3:48 p.m. 1800 Temple Hills Drive. A resident discovered a cut screen but no losses. A custody dispute may play a role.

Vandalism. 4:12 p.m. 31900 block of 10th Avenue. An unknown person threw yogurt, mustard and eggs at a car, damaging paint.

Traffic stop. 11:09 p.m. 31800 block of Coast Highway. A 54-year-old Laguna Beach man was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail after a citizen reported seeing him driving erratically.

Wednesday, Feb. 16

Suspicious. 7:56 a.m. Thalia and Gaviota Streets. A resident reported a naked man hiding under a car in the carport. He was apparently trying to gain entry to a nearby house.

Vandalism. 1:18 p.m. 200 block of Hinkle Place. A resident reported a neighbor cut trees without permission.

Pedestrian struck. 6:21 p.m. Park and Third Street. A pedestrian was either struck or fell but was uninjured when a motorist turned onto Third Street.

Thursday, Feb. 17

Traffic stop. 3:26 a.m. Brooks Street. A 30-year-old Tustin man was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.

Pedestrian stop. 9:31 p.m. 100 block of S. Coast Highway. Jeffrey Scott Burns Jr., 22, of Laguna Hills, was arrested for an outstanding warrant over hash possession.

Traffic stop. 9:49 p.m. Glenneyre Street. A 16-year-old female driver with three passengers was cited for license restrictions prohibiting her from carrying passengers under 20. All four were detained and released to their parents.

Friday, Feb. 18

Traffic stop. 12:43 a.m. A Lake Forest woman apparently celebrating her 23rd birthday was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.

Fraud. 9:19 a.m. S. La Senda Drive. $4,800 in airline tickets was charged from Denver to a compromised credit card.

Grand theft. Noon. 31000 block of Ceanothus Drive. About $30,000 in jewelry is missing from a house under construction for the last year.

Fraud. 1:26 p.m. at PD. About $100 in unauthorized charges was made to a gas credit card.

Petty theft. 7 a.m. 600 block of N. Coast Highway. A 20-year-old woman who had forgotten her wallet was charged with burglary after taking $19 worth of groceries.

Pedestrian stop. 11:26 p.m. Victoria Place. Three teens, two 15 and the other 16, all from Alameda. were cited for curfew violations.

Saturday, Feb. 19

Traffic stop. 1:14 a.m. 400 block of Cress Street. A 30-year-old San Juan Capistrano man was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.

Traffic stop. 2:28 a.m. Park Avenue. Imran Saaduddin Ahmad, 31, of Irvine, was arrested for suspicion of DUI and held for $15,000 bail due to two prior convictions.

Petty theft. 8:39 a.m. 2800 block of Chateau Way. Someone took four pairs of sunglasses from a vehicle.

Petty theft. 12 p.m. 30800 block of Coast Highway. An unknown person stole a wallet from a guest room.

Damage. 9:24 p.m. 300 block of Cliff Drive. A city street light, possibly loosened by heavy winds, fell on the hood of a parked Jaguar convertible causing moderate damage.

Traffic stop. 11:34 p.m. Brooks Street. A 53-year-old Irvine woman was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.

Sunday, Feb. 20

Traffic stop. 12:40 a.m. 200 Ocean Avenue. A 27-year-old Aliso Viejo man was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.

Traffic stop. 2:14 a.m. Thalia Street. A 29-year-old Laguna Beach man was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.

Occupied vehicle. 2:50 a.m. 200 Central Street. A 34-year-old Norwalk man was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.

Sewage leak. 7:23 a.m. 20600 block of Laguna Canyon Road. About 300 gallons of sewage spilled from a clogged lateral into Laguna Creek, resulting in a 48-hour closure of 500 feet at its outfall, Main Beach. A plumber cleared the blockage within minutes, said David Shissler, the city’s director of water quality.

Traffic stop. 10:43 p.m. Anita Street. A 24-year-old San Juan Capistrano woman was charged with DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
