In considering a view ordinance for Laguna Beach, the overall look of Laguna should be kept in mind, not just individual lots.
To me, our town looks much more inviting than sections of Newport Beach and Dana Point because of our lush and diverse vegetation. Sections of the aforementioned cities either look stripped of significant vegetation or just too uniform in tree species and height.
Laguna needs to take a scalpel, not a meat axe to this conundrum.
