Fellow real estate agents Jesse Brossa and Dave Csira have organized a neighborhood-wide garage sale in Arch Beach Heights for the morning of Saturday, Oct. 17.

So far 20 households plan on participating in the 7:30 to 11 a.m. sale, Csira said.

“One of the reasons we are doing this is because we have been told how difficult it has been to get buyers to go up to Arch Beach Heights when just one homeowner is having a garage sale.  By getting the entire community involved, we are hoping to attract a much larger audience of buyers,” Csira said.

The pair have been knocking on doors, sending out mailings and delivering “garage sale starter kits” containing price tags, helpful tips, a sharpie, tape, a tape measure and other useful items for a successful event.

Besides placing garage sale signs along Coast Highway on the morning of the event, they’ll take up positions at the top of Summit Drive and at Moulton Meadows Park handing out maps and water bottles.

Those who wish to participate in the garage sale can register their address at www.ArchBeachHeights.com.

The pair thoughtfully made arrangements for a pickup truck to collect unsold discards, which will be delivered to the Assistance League’s Thrift Shop.
