Author Virginia Mason will discuss her new book on Sunday, March 31, at 4 p.m. at Laguna Beach Books, 1200 S. Coast Highway. “Make the Sky Blue” follows the friendship of two married women and their families in the 1970s, one living in a rural area, the other in an affluent suburban setting. The women, different in age and background, forge a life-changing and life-affirming friendship of mutual solace as they manage the health, family and relationship issues in their lives.
